Facilities

Apologies for the amount of information here but we wanted to provide you with as much information in advance about your holiday accommodation.

Kitchen

The kitchen has the following appliances: a large fridge-freezer; split-level electric cooker (with integral grill); separate electric hob (4 rings); microwave oven; washer-drier; electric kettle; electric toaster. There is a good range of crockery, cutlery and glassware for 6 place servings together with a good selection of saucepans, casserole dishes, baking tins/trays etc.

 

Living Room/Dining Room

An open plan living area houses a comfortable leather sofa and easy chair, together with a dining table and 5 chairs. For your entertainment, we have a 26” LCD digital TV, Sky satellite (including complimentary Sky Movies and Sky Sports) and DVD player, together with a mini-hifi CD system. A telephone is provided for incoming calls. Ironing board and steam iron available. Wireless broadband internet is available for a small surcharge.

 

Bathroom

The modern bathroom suite comprises toilet, basin and bath with electric shower over. There is a heated towel rail to keep your towels warm, an electric shaver point and mirrored storage cabinet for your toiletries. The tariff includes bath towel, hand towel and face cloth for each person.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bedrooms

Each bedroom has plenty of hanging wardrobe space with a plentiful supply of wooden hangers together with shelf space and bedside cabinets for additional storage. We have provided each bedroom with a radio/alarm for those essential home comforts.

 

Access

The apartment is located on the third floor of a brand new apartment development. A modern, brightly-lit lift provides access to all floors. A remote entry-phone system gives you controlled access for any guests you may have during your stay. Access to the building is via an electronic security key-pad at ground floor.

 

Services

The Elgar Suite benefits from modern electric thermostatically controlled heaters, an instant hot-water system and electric cooking appliances. All services are provided in the all-inclusive cost of your booking.

 

Parking

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer our own dedicated parking space. However,  the apartment benefits from numerous pay-and-display car parks within 2-5 minutes walk, including long-stay parking with CCTV security cover. A drop-off point is located immediately outside the building for loading/unloading.

 

If there is something missing from this list that you want to know about before making a booking, please do not hesitate to ask! Also, if you have any specific requirements, please let us know and we’ll do our best to help e.g. child booster seats, high chairs, travel cot etc.

 

Groceries

As a special service to our guests, we can provide you with a grocery pack that will be available unpacked in your cupboards/refrigerator upon arrival. This contains essential items to see you through your first evening and breakfast the next day. The charge includes an administration/handling fee (approx. £3) in addition to the cost of the groceries. Unfortunately, no changes can be made to the contents of either pack. The contents of the packs are detailed below.

 

When making a booking, please specify if you would like either pack delivered and the cost will be included on your invoice. Note: we are unable to accept requests for changes to the content of either pack.
