Tariff

 

For simplicity, we have just 3 tariffs: low season, mid-season and high season. The weekly rental prices quoted below are based upon bookings of full weeks. Bookings usually commence on Fridays at 15:00hrs and finish on the following Friday at 10:00hrs. Should you need different arrival/departure dates/times, please call to discuss your requirements.

 

Prices include apartment rental, all services (heating, lighting etc), bed linen, towels, tea-towels. You just need to provide your own toiletries! Use of our wireless broadband internet connection (up to 8Mbps) incurs a charge of £10 per week (or part thereof).  Hire of infant items such as; travel cot, high chair, car booster seats and buggy incur a charge of £5 per week (or part thereof).

Outside of the peak periods (shaded red), booking of partial weeks may be possible. Because booking of partial weeks usually results in the apartment being unoccupied for the remaining part of the week, the cost per day booked will be greater than 1/7th of the corresponding weekly rate.

 

Typical charges for partial weeks:

Bookings for 5 or 6 days will be charged at the weekly rate quoted above.

Bookings for 1-4 days will be charged at 1/5th (20%) of the corresponding weekly rate for each night booked.

Example: a long weekend starting Friday 12th September to Monday 15th September (3 nights) would be charged at £440 x 20% = £88 per night. Total charge for booking = 3 x £88 = £264

Longer lets:

Outside of the peak period, it any be possible to let the apartment for longer periods of time. This may suit the business traveller who would prefer his/her own environment rather than a hotel if on business in the West Midlands. It would also be convenient as a temporary base for someone moving into the area while they look for their own property to purchase. The rental charge for longer-term lets are negotiated on an individual basis and will usually be lower than the standard weekly charges above. Please contact us if you have an enquiry.

 

Comparison prices:

Most people we talk to agree that our prices are competitive for the facilities and standard we offer. Occasionally though, people suggest that we’re over-priced. Therefore - just for comparison purposes - we give here the usual weekly charge for a room at Worcester Travelodge…. £342 per week. You will see that for much of the year, the 2-bedroomed luxury Elgar Suite is cheaper than one room in a budget hotel chain. We’re not suggesting that Travelodge and the Elgar Suite are comparable but it will help you to see what you get for about £350 per week: one basic room in a budget hotel with minimal facilities or a complete, self-contained, luxury 2-bedroomed apartment!!
